A Staggering Surge of the Flu-the Worst in 10 Years Is Hitting Hospitals Hard Says the CDC
This could be a triple threat, with COVID-19 and RSV adding to the mix.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control estimates that there have been 23,000 hospitalizations and 1,300 deaths from the flu so far this season. Plus, 2.8 million other illnesses.
The CDC reports that cases, hospitalizations, and deaths doubled over the past week.
The season isn’t in full swing until mid-December, peaking in January or February.
