Arnold Schwarzenegger Reminds Us Not to Be Content With Our Current Limits

We can get lazy or forgetful to push ourselves to what we're capable of.

Schnitzel wrote an article for Medium. I love Arnold's cute nickname, which I hadn't heard before. I also love that he writes for Medium. What great company we're in as writers.

I didn't agree with most of his politics when he was governor of California. Still, I agree with his philosophy that we should push ourselves to excel and always see what's possible.

In January 2022, I was inspired by an article about a plank challenge. Since my abs could use a bit of 'support,' I began my test.

I wanted to hold a plank for two minutes by the time I reached the end of my 30-day challenge.

The last time I attempted one, I held it for less than 30 seconds.

On January 1, 2022, I held my first plank for one minute and three seconds! I was astounded. The next day I increased to one minute eleven seconds.

Each day increased incrementally until, by day 15; I reached the two-minute mark. At the end of the 30 days, I was able to hold a plank for two minutes and 16 seconds.
