Do you jump out of bed in the morning excited to start another day? Or are you among the millions who dread getting up as you feel your life is without purpose?

I lived a life of Shoulds for the first half of my existence.

Imagine living your life for someone or something other than what you want.

Or consciously knowing that you are living inauthentically, yet it seemed easier than pursuing what you truly desired. That is precisely what I did.

My Beginnings

After graduating high school, I dreamed of attending art/design school. My father insisted I apply to the school he attended, but I refused. I had my own choices.

He rejected those preferences, proclaiming it wasn’t financially feasible.

I chickened out. I could not commute to New York City from New Jersey and pay for school on my own.

I abandoned my first Must and entered, ever so reluctantly, into the world of Shoulds.
