I hadn't ever thought about this, Sarah, but it's an interesting point to ponder. I'll be 5 years sober in 2 weeks and feel secure in my sobriety and out of the "early" stages. Still, I know we must never be overconfident. I've had two friends, on 13 years and another 15 years sober who began drinking again. Fortunately, they're both back to being AF. Thanks for giving us something to think about.
