I love that--essentialism. My husband can't let anything go. He has sweaters I'm sure are from the 80's. He never wears them, thank goodness. I give away things all the time. I love uncluttered surfaces yet love decorating--just simple. Thanks for sharing this--especially owning the alcoholic part. Brave.
