I love this article, Barb! You remind me so much of me. Although I wasn't a writer during my drinking years I was creative in many areas --decorating, fashion, painting--and sure alcohol was the engine that got the juices flowing. What a foolish idea! So glad I, too, have 5 years of sobriety. Sharing was hard at first now I want to tell the world how much better life is sober. Thank you!
