Interesting article, James. I was born and raised in N.J. and moved to California when I was 27 and lived there for 40 years (yes, I left my heart there). I still keep a small apartment there as my son is in San Fran and my sister is up the street from my place. Gotta love CA. BTW I love Canada, too. Especially British Columbia.
