Why Is Angelina Jolie Still Mad at Brad Pitt 6 Years After Filing for Divorce?

The divorce was her idea, so why is she peeved?

Brad and Angelina were once Hollyhood’s Golden Couple.

Their love story began in 2005 on the movie set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, playing a married couple who are assassins.

Their relationship ended in 2016 — yet the divorce is not final. Although, on April 12, 2019, the court restored Jolie and Pitt to single status.

Angelina got what she wanted — freedom. She found an excuse to divorce Brad, and yet she’s bitter.

They have not yet settled their $400 million net worth split. The court won’t finalize their divorce until they do.

A lot of turmoil has been brewing over Jolie selling her stake in their $164 million French estate and winery, Chateau Miraval. This winery is Brad’s “passion.”

According to sources, Jolie needed Brad’s permission before selling. He claims she sold her share to hurt him.

She sold to the wine division of the Stoli Group. Pitt has sued Jolie for selling to Stoli, a “stranger,” and she did this intentionally “to inflict harm” on him. Pitt alleges that the sale damaged the company’s reputation.
