Will You Try These Eight Simple Ways to Create Love on Earth?

If committed to even half of these — our lives would be glorious.

In my early 20’s, I abandoned my Catholic church-going ways and took on God on my terms.

By the time I entered my 50s, I was yearning for a spiritual community to help guide me further along as I entered the next phase of my life.

I embraced what is known as New Thought, specifically Science of Mind, currently referred to as Centers for Spiritual Living.

Another New Thought church is Unity. Though I was not a member, I did meet and continue to follow the teachings of one of its most prolific ministers, Edwene Gaines.

Edwene has assembled a list of 38 suggestions to Create Love on Earth.

Here are eight simple but perhaps, not easy, ideas from her list that resonates with me and are ones that I am working on:

• Stop Fearing
• Start Appreciating
• Start Praising
• Start Risking
• Start Loving Yourself
